Definition: evidence, typically derived from an experiment or pilot project, which demonstrates that a design concept, business proposal, etc., is feasible.
Look, we realize this is a BIG project. Opening up a large-scale art exhibition space that integrates tech with art in an immersive environment (that’s a mouthful) is a huge endeavor. We get that and so does everyone else in Erie. That’s why we are starting off with a proof of concept.
For two months this 3-room installation will be open to the public for a nominal fee to get feedback and support. We want to hear about your experiences, to see what you liked and what you want to play more with, and if we are lucky…to gain your support.
Most business investors want to know that the plan is going to work. We’ve done a gallery. We’ve done community art projects. And we’ve done some tech (with the help of our tech friends). We want to show you that we can pull all this together and make something that Erie would be excited to show off…to Erietes and her visitors.
Once you’ve gone through the exhibit (or even a couple of times), you will be asked to provide feedback via a webform. Don’t worry, we will also have a paper version if that is your jam.
We will also ask for you to post your pics on our Instagram as a means of support. This is our proof of concept and even a prototype of what we envision.
Come on in; the water is just fine.
